Anne Saltel (she/her) is a 3rd year undergraduate student studying Community and Regional Development. Anne is interested in the intersections between climate, community development and environmental justice. She currently is a Bonnie Reiss Climate Action Fellow with the University of California Office of the President where she leads climate engagement projects at UC Davis. Additionally, she has been awarded the Isao Fujimoto Scholar award through the UC Davis Center for Regional Change to do research regarding Climate Anxiety and Place Attachment. She is also currently a community engagement intern for the Sheepmowers project in the department of Landscape Architecture. With these experiences, she has been able to explore the role of community engagement and sustainability and looks forward to continuing advocating for making sustainability more accessible and promoting environmental justice.
