Michaela grew up in West Texas and earned their JD in law from UC Davis King Hall School of Law in 2024. They are pursuing a combined JD-PhD in law and Geography at UC Davis studying geographies of care. Michaela is also a poet and community organizer, and you can find them seeking joy through karaoke, deep conversation, cake and the color purple.
